About the Role
Overwatch Energy is seeking disciplined, deployment-ready Field Service Technicians to support utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the United States. As part of a veteran-owned and operated team, you will play a critical role in the construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of renewable energy infrastructure. Requirements
Technical degree or equivalent hands-on field experience in electrical, mechanical, or energy systems
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role within the renewable energy industry
Strong working knowledge of solar PV and/or BESS technologies, including OEM-aligned diagnostics and repair
Ability to travel extensively to client sites nationwide, including overnight and extended stays on a rotation schedule
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under field conditions
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and field crews
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and weekends based on project demands
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Commitment to safety protocols and disciplined field execution
